The following are the core beliefs of Assembly of Yahweh based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these Biblical doctrines.

The Bible (66 books) is the Word of Yahweh.  Yahweh has kept the Bible in tact in its original meaning. We do not accept non-canonical books, such as those found in the Apocrypha as His Divine inspired Word. 

One of the the key commandments is the keeping of the Sabbath on the seventh day of the week (Friday sunset to Saturday sunset), which was ordained and established before the Jewish people ever existed (Gen 2:2-3).

Yahweh placed Yahshua Messiah as head to all the Assembly (Eph 1:22).  Each congregation is autonomous.  Our authority is in heaven, not in the office of some man or group of men.

Yahweh is One, the heavenly Father alone.  The Father is our only Creator and Almighty by Himself.  We reject the doctrine of the Trinity and or Oneness (Neh 9:6).

Yahshua is our King, Messiah, Mediator, and High Priest.  Our perfect Mediator between Yahweh and man (1st Tim 2:5).

The name of our Creator is YHWH pronounced YAH-weh.  The name of His Son, the Messiah is Yah-SHU-a.

The Law (Torah) is to be kept today. We are called to follow The Law as people of the Covenant.  

Passover is to be our annual “Communion” done on the 14th day of the first Biblical month.

Salvation come by grace alone, through faith alone, in Yahshua as our Messiah, once we are in the faith, we are obligated to keep the commandments of Yahweh.

We are called to Repent, Believe, and be Baptized in order to be woven into the commonwealth of Israel, otherwise known as the Assembly.

We are mortal souls, subject to death.  There is not consciousness outside the body.  The afterlife we see is a bodily resurrection which is changed “in a moment” and a “twinkling of an eye” to a spiritual being at the last judgement (Rom 8:11).

Soul Sleep, once a person dies he sleeps in the grave waiting for the resurrection to come.  There is no afterlife, in heaven, outside of the sleeping body.

When Yahshua returns, he will resurrect the saints for the millennial reign, and there will be a second resurrection at the end of the 1000 year millennial reign for the wicked, called the Great White Throne Judgement.

That the wicked will be punished with eternal punishment, but not with eternal torture, they will burn up, cease to exist, and never return.

Anti-Paganism, we abstain from any holidays that are rooted in paganism.  This includes Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and minor ones such as Valentines day and St. Patrick's Day.

Hebrew Roots - The God of Israel is the author of the true religion. . The Messiah and his Apostles were native Israelites. They and the early church kept the Sabbath and practiced the Torah. 

We are grafted into Israel, and none of the covenants pertaining to salvation were made with the Gentiles. All were made with Israel, Yahweh's chosen people.

We do not recognize the modern day Charismatic/Pentecostal church practices as being Biblical. Speaking in an unknown “babbling” tongue, speaking on behalf of Yahweh, or being slain in the spirit are examples of "hyper-spirituality" that we do not recognize nor endorse. 

We should beware of those who have dreams and visions. These are often presented for the express purpose of leading people into false doctrine; doctrine contrary to Biblical precepts. The same is true of those who claim that Yahweh or Yahshua has spoken to them personally (Jer. 14:14; 23:25-32; 29:8 Ezek. 13:8, 9; Jude 8-16). Only if they totally agree with Scriptures should we accept as true. We should ask ourselves, "What is the purpose of this dream or vision?" If given to support Scriptures, these need no support; if not, this dream or vision may be given to deceive.

Willful abortion is a serious crime. It is murder (Ex. 20:13; Mt. 19:18). This includes pregnancies resulting from rape and incest.

According to Torah, homosexuality is a grievous sin.  There are only two genders, male and female. Practicing any form of transgenderism or crossdressing is an abomination.  We believe in a monogamous marriage of one man and one woman.

We believe that while a small amount of alcoholic beverage is acceptable in Yahweh's sight, drunkenness is not.  Drug abuse is a crime against the Almighty, against society, and against the human body.

We hold the belief that men have the obligation to conduct and lead worship gatherings, as Scripture directs.
