LOVE THE HEAVENLY FATHER

"You shall love Yahweh * your Elohim ++ with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets" (Mt. 22:37-40 RSV).

Someone wrote that we can better understand how to love the heavenly Father by comparing our love for him with that of a man for his bride-to-be. It is expressed something like this. His greatest desire is to

In like manner, if we truly love the heavenly Father, we will want to be with him, talk to him, tell everyone about him, please him in every way, and love those who love him. May I respectfully suggest that this should be extended a little further? Will any man remain madly in love with a woman without learning her name? Will he court her for weeks, months, or even years, and never once call her by name? The answer is a resounding, No. If she is called by various titles, but never by her true name, the woman will soon become angry and advise the suitor to "Get lost!" Learning the woman's name is one of the first and most important things a "love-sick" man will do.

What about those who love the heavenly Father? Is the Supreme Being pleased with years of worship to him, but never a mention of his true name? Probably not. Most people who worship him do not know his true name, therefore, they never call on that blessed name as Scriptures direct:

"O give thanks unto Yahweh; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
"Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of his wondrous works. Glory in his name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek Yahweh" (Psa. 105:1-3 KJV).
"Because he [the Savior] has set his love upon me, therefore I will deliver him: I will set him on high because he hath known my name" (Psa. 91:14)
"I will declare thy name [the Father's name] unto my brethren, in the midst of the congregation I will praise thee" (Psa. 22:22; Heb. 2:12).
"And the foreigners who join themselves to Yahweh to minister to him, to LOVE the name Yahweh, and to be his servants, every one who keeps the Sabbath, and does not profane it, and holds fast my covenant – these I will bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer; …" (Isa. 56:6, 7 RSV).

The sad thing is, most ministers know the name of the Supreme Being, but continue to with-hold this information from the members of their assemblies. Why is this? These ministers are paid to dispense Scriptural information, yet most never reveal to their members the one true name of the heavenly Father.

In the past there has been a conspiracy to suppress The Name. You are in a position to help turn this around by informing everyone about the true name of the heavenly Father so that people can properly "call on his name," as Scriptures instruct us to do. I call on you to use every means at your disposal to make known The Name Yahweh, and the saving name of his Son, Yahshua the Messiah, for

" … there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
" … and yet you have kept my word and have NOT DENIED my name" (Rev. 3:8).

Halleluyah! This means "praise Yahweh!" (Psa. 135:1, 21).

* In most English Versions, "LORD" has been substituted for the true name, Yahweh.
++ Elohim: The Mighty One of Abraham, translated as God in most English Versions.
